Franklin R. Strokoff is an accomplished and nationally known trial lawyer who has dedicated his career to helping victims suffering catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death due to someone else's negligence. He has obtained multi-million dollar and million-dollar jury verdicts and recovered tens of millions of dollars on behalf of his seriously injured clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Franklin’s court victories include a $3.146 Million Jury Verdict (largest reported premises liability verdict in the State of Pennsylvania in 2020) and a $1.75 Million Jury Verdict (2nd highest reported verdict for an intersectional motor vehicle case in the State of New Jersey in 2014).
Franklin is a life member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and was selected to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100. Franklin has been listed as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Pennsylvania and New Jersey every year since 2014 and has been selected to the Nation’s Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel since 2015. He has a Superb 10/10 Avvo rating and is a certified Arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas’ compulsory arbitration program.
Born and raised in Central Pennsylvania, Franklin understands the importance of hard work, dedication and giving back to the community. These values, combined with a passion for competition, give Franklin an edge in the courtroom, greatly benefiting his clients. Franklin and his clients work as a team and form close relationships that continue well beyond the conclusion of their case.
While attending East Pennsboro High School, Franklin was captain of the football and wrestling teams, and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Following graduation, Franklin played NCAA Football at Albright College and was a team captain his senior year. In 2003, Franklin graduated from Albright with a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology. Franklin attended Delaware Law School, where he was captain of the rugby team and earned his law degree in 2006.
Franklin started his career as a defense lawyer working on behalf of insurance companies. After witnessing how injured victims were often treated, Franklin decided to use his skills, and knowledge of how insurance companies do business, to help injured clients in need. Before founding Groen Strokoff O’Neill, LLC, Franklin worked for a Prominent Philadelphia Injury Law Firm.
Outside the courtroom, Franklin enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children at their home in Radnor, PA, and the Jersey Shore. He also enjoys staying active, is an avid skier and lifelong Philadelphia sports fan.
