MELISSA BISHOP
Melissa Bishop is a certified trial attorney who represents injured victims in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Melissa has tried over 70 jury trials in her career, consistently obtaining favorable verdicts for her clients.
Prior to joining GSO, Melissa spent over a decade working for two of the country’s largest insurance carriers. Her extensive defense litigation experience provides Melissa with firsthand knowledge on how to achieve maximum results for her clients and their families.
Melissa earned her law degree from Widener University Delaware School of Law and her Master of Law (LLM) in Taxation from Temple University Beasley School of Law. Melissa is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
As a certified Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey Melissa has demonstrated that she has the skills, experience, knowledge and education to try cases on behalf of injured victims throughout the State. The New Jersey Supreme Court, through its Board on Attorney Certification, has only designated approximately 2% of all attorneys throughout the State of New Jersey as those who meet the strenuous standards set to achieve Certification.
Melissa is a lifelong resident of South Jersey. She grew up in Washington Township, New Jersey; and raised her three children in Gloucester Township, New Jersey. Melissa currently resides in Medford Lakes, New Jersey with her husband and their 4 dogs. When Melissa is not practicing law or spending time with her family, she has dedicated her time to fostering and training homeless pets while they await their forever families.
